Performer in AFTER

A graduate of the Regional Acting School of Cannes and Marseille, Gurshad Shaheman has worked as an actor, director’s assistant and Persian translator. Pourama Pourama created as of 2012 and composed of three components (Touch me; Taste me and Trade me) presents a written performance that praises both the senses and the primacy of presence on a stage. Gurshad Shaheman has recently played Hermione in Andromaque directed by Damien Chardonnet-Darmaillacq, and in AK47 directed by Perrine Maurin, adapted from Olivier Rohe’s novel. Gurshad Shaheman is an associate artist at the Centre dramatique national de Normandie-Rouen and is accompanied by the Phénix Scène nationale Valenciennes as part of the for Campus of the European pole creation.
