After training in ready-to-wear, Catherine Garnier began costume design for opera and dance with Patrick Terroittin. In 1993 she joined the workshop of Philippe Guillotel in training in stage costume. She then created for a ballet by Philippe Decouflé but also for events, advertising, fashion, and cinema.
Since 1996, Catherine Garnier has created and produced the costumes for the Junior ballet of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with various choreographers such as: Robert North, Lucinda Child, Serge Ricci, Jo Stromgren, Philippe Trehet, Ashley Page, Lara Barzacq , Douglas Becker, Hervé Robbe, Paco Decina, Lionel Hoche, Davide Bombana, Yvan Alexandre, Thomas Lebrun, MA Gillot, Nicolas Paul, Marie Claude Pietragalla.
In dance, theater, music and for young audiences, she works today with Hervé Robbe, Laurence Salvadori, Virginie Mirbaut, Christine Bastin, Raphaël Cottin, Patricia Petibon, La Loge 22, Paco Decina, Daniel Dobbels, Christine Gérard, Tatiana Julien, Nans Martin…
